Overview

You want to fly a Yak, and you want to fly a great-looking airplane with outstanding 3D and precision capabilities. Say hello to your new plane—the Yak 54 ARF from Seagull Models.

One of model aviation’s hottest subjects is now available as a mid-size gas performer. Fly the Yak 54 ARF with a Zenoah® G20ei gasser and marvel at the unlimited vertical performance. Roll rate is extremely fast with true tracking and pinpoint knife-edge. Or you can strap in a Saito™ FA-125a four-stroke, and enjoy even lighter wing loading, perfect power-to-weight and plenty of pullout from hovers.

The Yak 54’s incredible performance comes as no surprise when you consider the craft and care that Seagull put into this .90-size dream. It’s made from lightweight laser-cut balsa and plywood parts and covered in vibrant Hangar 9® UltraCote®. Carbon fiber pushrods, a 2-piece plug-in wing and a fiberglass cowl and wheel pants add to the quality design, and Seagull even includes a
factory-painted and installed pilot figure to polish it off.

You’re a prudent pilot looking for an out-of-sight performer. So fly the Yak 54 ARF from Seagull.

Tech Notes

Note about the CG Location on SEA5000 and SEA5100 Yak's

The CG as noted in the manual is incorrect.  The correct CG is 7-8cm behind the leading edge where the wing meets the fuselage, not at the wingtip!  Measuring at the wingtip will result in a CG much too far aft and an unstable model.
